Olyphant Hops on Board the "Crazies" Train

Timothy Olyphant, star of Deadwood and Hitman, has signed on to star in the remake of George Romero's The Crazies, according to a report from Reuters. The film, directed by Breck Eisner and written by remake specialist Scott Kosar (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Amityville Horror), is slated for a 2009 release. Much as I love Timothy Olyphant, whether or not Kosar can turn out a good script still remains to be seen.
