We have the Caras, the Kendalls and the Gigis, who are being called supermodels just because they have lots of fans/followers. But the real supermodel is Karlie Kloss.
She's probably the last model who managed to get to top level without having a famous family. I'm not saying that makes her better than the rest, but it does feel more legit. I hope you understand what I mean.
In order to be a supermodel, you need to be popular between fashion addicts, but also between regular people who don't really care about fashion. Becoming a Victoria's Secret angel helped her a lot, and being Taylor Swift's friend finished the deal. A beauty contract with a brand like L'oreal (whose tv adverts can be watched several times a day) didn't hurt ;)
She has the Vogue covers, the commercial contracts, her own brand of cookies (or should I say "kookies"?), she's going to start university soon, she's doing cameos in blockbuster movies, ...are 24 hours enough for her? Because I feel like she needs more time to be able to do all that stuff.
But I guess she does have time for more things, because she created her own youtube channel. And for someone like me who loves fashion and behind the scenes videos, this is the best news ever.

Tenemos las Caras, Kendalls y Gigis, a las que todo el mundo llama supermodelo solo porque tienen muchos fans/seguidores. Pero la verdadera supermodelo es Karlie Kloss.
Es probablemente la última modelo que ha conseguido llegar al nivel de top sin tener una familia famosa. No digo que eso la haga mejor que el resto, pero si que resulta más legítimo. Espero que me entendáis lo que quiero decir.
Para ser una supermodelo tienes que ser famosa entre los locos de la moda, pero también entre la gente normal que pasa olímpicamente de la moda. Ser ángel de Victoria's Secret la ayudó mucho, y ser amiga de Taylor Swift terminó el trabajo. Un contrato de belleza con una marca como L'oreal (cuyos anuncios podemos ver varias veces al día) tampoco la vino mal ;)
Tiene las portadas de Vogue, los contratos comerciales, su propia marca de galletas (buscad "kookies" en google), va a ir a la universidad pronto, hace cameos en películas super taquilleras, ...¿son 24 horas al día suficientes para ella? Porque creo que necesita más tiempo para hacer todas esas cosas.
Pero supongo que si que tiene tiempo porque ahora también ha creado su propio canal de youtube. Y para alguien como yo, que adora la moda y los vídeos con "behind the scenes", esto es un notición.
