If you haven't seen from my Instagram, Royal Caribbean invited me to cruise with them on Freedom of the Seas for a lovely trip! It was so much fun to explore the newly renovated ship, visit the Bahamas and get to hang out with my blogger friends.
This is one of the outfits that I wore to dinner one night. We shot these photos on the deck of the ship where all of the pools are situated. Part of the deck has gorgeous windows which provided sweeping views of the ocean. Such a good spot to be in as the sun was setting! We dined at Sabor, one of the ship's speciality restaurants. It had delicious Mexican food. My favorites were the table-side guac and the jalapeño margaritas. YUM.
Whenever I travel, I try to stay within one color palette. Since I was going to be on a boat and near water, I felt that navy and white was the only way to go. I love this super simple tank and white pants as they are my go-to year-round.
This cashmere wrap has become like my own person baby blanket. I take it everywhere. It's the softest thing ever and so great to travel with. I use it as a blanket/pillow while traveling, a wrap over my clothes, a scarf in the winter... it basically never leaves me. I suggest it to everyone and now have almost every color, but the grey continues to be my favorite. This piece was especially wonderful to have about the Freedom of the Seas as it can get chilly at night while sailing, so it is great to throw over summer outfits while on deck! More to come about my trip!
