Skin Tone: Medium fair, warm undertones

I have hauled a few lipsticks from Wet n Wild Cosmetics. In this post, I am reviewing the shade “Never N*de.” Read on for more details on this lipstick.

My Experience with Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Never Nude:
The lipstick comes in a basic, black-colored plastic tube with a clear cap. The cap shuts properly and does not come off while carrying it around. The base of the lipstick bears a sticker indicating the shade name, number, etc. The lipstick comes with a basic twist-up mechanism. A part of the lipstick bullet remains outside, so I need to be careful while closing the lipstick tube to avoid damage. The lipstick tube has brand’s tagline printed on it in white fonts. Overall, the packaging is too basic yet purse friendly.
“Never N*de” is a pale beige n*de shade, which is perfect to be paired with smoky eyes. The color looks lovely on the lips but it is suitable for fair skin tones only. This shade will wash out most of the Indian skin tones. The lipstick is free from any kind of shimmer or glitter and it has a proper opaque finish. Most of the pale shades give out streaky finishes, but this one goes very smoothly on the lips. It is a good choice for people who prefer subtle colors and do not like to sport bold shades often.
This shade can be worn to office or college, etc. The lipstick is not super glossy. It has a slight sheen, which gives a healthier appearance to the lips. It looks creamy initially, but later, it sets to a nice, semi-matte finish. The color payoff of the lipstick is good. The color is buildable with two-three swipes. It covers pigmented lips easily.
I have fallen in love with the texture of this lipstick. It is incredibly soft and smooth. Hence, it glides on the lips like a dream without causing any tugging or pulling of the lips. The creamy formula is non-drying. The lipstick does not cling to dry patches of the lips and gives nice, plumped up lips. The formula is light and feels comfortable on the lips. There is no stickiness in the lipstick and does not feel heavy on the lips. Due to its creamy formulation, the lipstick has a tendency to transfer. The lipstick is slightly moisturizing, but my lips tend to feel dry after around 3-4 hours. It does not have creasing issues. “Never N*de” does not bleed or smudge.
The lasting power of the lipstick is around 4-5 hours on my lips without any meals in between. The color fades away after a meal and requires reapplication. It also settles into fine lines of the lips after a heavy meal when the color wipes off. The formula is non-staining and can be easily taken off using a good makeup remover.
